I Used To Freak Out About Not Being Able To Go To The Gym Once I Had Become A Mum.

I panicked about not being able to burn enough calories to lose weight. I panicked that I would never get my pre-baby body back. There was just never enough time or energy to do the exercise I thought I should be doing. And it felt like everyone else had it sorted! Everyone got back into their post baby jeans 6 weeks after birth.

Except they didn't did they?!!! I didn't, you didn't, she didn't.

Once I gave up trying to be someone I wasn't and gave up trying to be the old me I found an amazing way to exercise and a great group of women to support me. And guess what? I have so much more energy and I am so much stronger than I ever was!

Live your healthiest life with my personalised workouts & nutrition plan.

As women we get told so often that our bodies aren’t good enough. That we aren’t the ideal body shape/size/colour/weight. We should have longer legs, bigger boobs, less wrinkles, pouty big lips, ginormous eyebrows.

But why do they get to decide?

I get to decide if I like my body thank you. And I do. Not because it’s perfect (it’s not believe me) but because it’s mine, it has a story, it’s strong, I’ve worked hard for it.

Perfect is an impossible goal, so I’m going to love my body just the way it is, but it hasn’t always been this way.

Here’s the thing, I don’t workout at home every day because I’m panicking about gaining weight or “losing progress”.

I move to take care of myself and stay feeling my best.

We’ve had to get more creative as a family so we ALL move and exercise (kids included!) And we’re literally taking it one day (and one meal) at a time.

I know that not exercising will effect my mental health and make it harder over the coming months.

If this sounds a little bit like you, then….
